Travel Advisor / Sales Agent – Motorcoach Tours (Fairless Hills, PA)

About the role

If you love travel but don’t want to live out of a suitcase, this could be the job for you — sell and service motorcoach vacations from our Fairless Hills office. Starr Tours, one of the nation’s largest privately owned motorcoach charter and tour companies, is seeking a detail-minded individual to join our Public Tours Division as a Travel Advisor. You’ll be an integral part of a highly experienced team responsible for selling and servicing over 50 one-day excursions and 85 multi-day vacations each year, ranging from quick getaways to Broadway and Lancaster to longer trips to Cape Cod, Nashville, and even a 27-day cross-country tour.

Responsibilities

• Make outbound calls to past travelers and field incoming calls from marketing efforts
• Contact clients for meal selections or payments, answer questions, and proof advertisements
• Process mail and assist with office tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Pitch in across other areas of the business as needed and support special projects
• Assist Tour Directors and Drivers with questions when required

Requirements

• Experience in sales, service, or administration
• Strong customer service skills and attention to detail
• Excellent written, verbal/phone, and electronic communication skills
• Patience, kindness, and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
• Comfort with computers and basic accounting/math
• Self-motivation and excellent work ethic
• A love of travel and interest in learning about new destinations; personal travel experience and familiarity with popular domestic destinations is a plus
