About the role
We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our Acute Neuro Unit for a 13-week travel contract in Cumming, Georgia. This position requires a minimum of 2 years of recent experience in the specialty.
Schedule
- 12-hour night shifts (12x3), 36 hours per week
- Shift variability: 7 AM - 7:30 PM
- Start date: 08/31/2026
- Duration: 13 weeks
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the neuro unit
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes to the healthcare team
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Educate patients and families on care plans and health management
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in an Acute Neuro setting
- Required certifications: AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) and NIH Certification
- Preferred certification: AHA Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
