Travel Acute Care RN - $1,998 per week

About the role

Travel Med/Surg RN position in Albany, Georgia. Assignment starts 09/14/2026 and lasts 13 weeks, with 36 hours per week on 12-hour shifts (6:45 AM–7:15 PM or 6:45 PM–7:15 AM).

Responsibilities

• Care for a 14-bed unit with a 1:6 patient ratio on both days and nights
• Manage diabetic patients, CHF, COPD, GI bleeds, renal failure, dialysis, post-surgical overflow, amputations, wound care, DVTs, ETOH and psych patients
• Administer drips such as Lasix, Bumex, and Heparin
• Operate CPAP and BiPAP (primarily at night)
• Work every other weekend
• May float to acute care, cardio units, or areas caring for acute-care holds

Telemetry is monitored remotely; RNs do not need to interpret strips.

Requirements

• 2+ years of Med/Surg specialty experience
• 1 completed travel assignment
• Experience in a larger, high-acuity, fast-paced hospital (no Critical Access Hospital experience alone)
• BLS and NIHSS certifications (required)
• ACLS certification (preferred)

Dress Code

Scrubs must be Caribbean Blue, or a White top with Caribbean Blue bottoms, or all White.

Orientation

3 days of orientation provided.
