Travel Acute Care Physical Therapist - $2,093 per week

About the role

Supplemental Health Care is seeking experienced Physical Therapists for acute care hospital contract assignments in Miami, Florida. This is a travel position with an ASAP start date, a 13‑week contract (possible extension), 40 hours per week on 8‑hour day shifts in an acute care setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide PT treatment and patient care according to facility guidelines.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and facility personnel.
• May be asked to delegate and supervise physical therapist assistants and technicians.

Requirements

• Current Physical Therapy licensure in Florida.
• Graduation from an accredited school of Physical Therapy.
• BLS certification.
• Minimum 1‑year experience as a Physical Therapist.
• Ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, and facility personnel.

Pay

Compensation depends on various factors including qualifications and experience. The pay range is $1,900–$2,093 per week for a 13‑week contract (possible extension). Pay package is based on 8‑hour shifts and 40 hours per week, with a tax‑free stipend amount to be determined.
