About the role

Board Certified/Board Eligible General Surgeon to expand Acute Care and Trauma Surgery in Waxahachie, Texas. This is an employed career opportunity offering work‑life balance, a competitive salary, productivity bonus, moving allowance, and no state income tax.

Responsibilities

• Provide both acute care and trauma services.
• Join a multi‑specialty group that includes two other acute care surgeons.
• Perform approximately seven 24‑hour in‑house shifts per month.
• Handle acute care cases generated from designated call days each month.
• Host two clinic days per month to assist with post‑operative and follow‑up patients.
• Work within a Level 4 trauma facility.

Qualifications

• Doctorate degree in Medicine (MD or DO).
• Licensed to practice medicine in Texas by the Texas Medical Board.
• Board certified in General Surgery or actively pursuing board certification as defined by the American Board of Medical Specialties or the Bureau of Osteopathic Specialists.
