About the Role
Reporting to the Emergency Department Director, the Trauma Registrar supports the unit by coordinating communications, performing order entry functions, maintaining files, and providing clerical support.
Full-time, day shift with holiday rotation in the Trauma department.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate communications within the Emergency Department
- Perform order entry functions
- Maintain files
- Provide clerical support
- Trauma Registry entry and data collection
Requirements
- High school graduate (preferred)
- Minimum of four years of experience as a unit secretary in a similar department (preferred)
- Knowledge of medical terminology
- Basic computer knowledge, such as word processing and spreadsheet software
- Familiarity with Trauma Registry entry and data collection

Pay
$25.00 - $37.04 hourly. Individual wages are determined based upon a number of factors including, but not limited to, an individual’s qualifications and experience.
