Responsibilities
- Develop and implement trauma care protocols to meet accreditation standards
- Cultivate partnerships with emergency services and community healthcare providers
- Guide the trauma service in providing evidence-based patient care
- Create comprehensive care plans for trauma patients
- Make diagnostic and therapeutic decisions based on patient needs and evidence-based practices
- Follow established clinical policies and quality improvement guidelines
Qualifications
- Board Certified/Board Eligible in General Surgery and Surgical Critical Care
- Ability to obtain a medical license in Delaware and meet credentialing requirements
- 3-5 years of relevant experience strongly preferred
- Demonstrated leadership skills in a medical setting
- Commitment to trauma care excellence and education
Pay
- $445,027 – $615,473 annually
