Trauma Medical Director

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement trauma care protocols to meet accreditation standards
• Cultivate partnerships with emergency services and community healthcare providers
• Guide the trauma service in providing evidence-based patient care
• Create comprehensive care plans for trauma patients
• Make diagnostic and therapeutic decisions based on patient needs and evidence-based practices
• Follow established clinical policies and quality improvement guidelines

Qualifications

• Board Certified/Board Eligible in General Surgery and Surgical Critical Care
• Ability to obtain a medical license in Delaware and meet credentialing requirements
• 3-5 years of relevant experience strongly preferred
• Demonstrated leadership skills in a medical setting
• Commitment to trauma care excellence and education

Pay

• $445,027 – $615,473 annually
