Trash Porter- Limpieza

Hours: Thursday and Sunday 8:00 am–5:00 pm (San Jose); Monday–Wednesday, Friday 7:00 am–4:00 pm (Menlo Park). Pay rate: $23/hr. Locations: Menlo Park & San Jose, CA.

About the role

Residential and commercial property owners rely on Janitors to protect the health of tenants, guests, and vendors. Planned Companies Building Services (PBS) is hiring detail-oriented Janitors and Custodians to provide common-area and bathroom cleaning services, ensuring a clean, healthy, and safe environment for all.

Responsibilities

• Vacuum, sweep, and mop floors of various types
• Strip, buff, and wax floors as needed
• Dust ceilings, light fittings, countertops, and loose furniture
• Scrub and sanitize bathroom toilets, sinks, and kitchen fixtures
• Empty trash cans and wash/dry windows
• Request cleaning supplies and report breakages or needed repairs
• Assist building management with projects and other duties as requested

Requirements

• Willing to stand for extended periods and lift 50+ pounds
• Experience in similar roles using cleaning products and floor/carpet equipment
• Able to work both independently and on a team
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
