Transporter/EKG Tech - PT TRANSPORTATION

Responsibilities

• Escorts/Transports patients to/from nursing units, treatment and diagnostic areas safely and with respect for privacy and confidentiality as assigned.
• Correctly identifies patient, safely transports via wheelchair, cart or bed to the requested destination.
• Recognizes their limitations, and obtains additional information and assistance as needed.
• Upon order, does technical work in the conducting of Non-Invasive cardiology studies (EKG's) on all patients.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• BLS/CPR certificate
• Holiday rotation and call rotation required.
