TRANSPORTER - EAMC TRANSPORTATION

Position Summary

Fulfills department and hospital policies and procedures to enhance patient care. Transports patients safely and promptly, adhering to proper protocols for handling catheters, tubes, equipment, monitors, and oxygen. Welcomes and introduces oneself to patients and staff, providing relevant transport information. Completes daily logs and maintains transport equipment cleanliness.

Position Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• No prior experience required
• BLS certification within 90 days of hire/transfer
• One year in customer service preferred
• One year of satisfactory employment preferred
• No additional education or certifications required
