TRANSPORTER

Responsibilities

• Provides safe transportation of patients to and from the facility providing continuous observation, interaction, and role modeling to the patients while maintaining safety at all times.
• May provide direct care to adult patients with psychiatric disorders, as well as substance abuse, to ensure the safety and wellbeing of the patients.
• Ensures the patient’s safety to or from the facility or various offsite locations such as physician offices, diagnostic centers, ERs, Military bases, discharge placements, etc.

Qualifications

• Completion of a High School Diploma or its equivalent.
• A minimum of two (2) years experience in mental health care, preferably in a healthcare facility.
