Responsibilities
- Transport patients to and from the department
- Perform darkroom duties
- Order supplies and stock
- Dress patients
- Perform front office duties
- Answer telephones and greet patients
- Prepare requisitions for outpatients
- File patient reports and retrieve patient records for physicians or medical records
- Demonstrate adequate knowledge of usual terminology of tests ordered in department
- Demonstrate good telephone etiquette and greet patients and other visitors in a polite and friendly manner
- Provide clerical support utilizing telephone, computer, office equipment, PACS (Picture Archive and Communication System)
- Run errands throughout the facility
Qualifications
- BCLS (AHA) upon hire and maintain current throughout employment
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Transportation experience preferred
