Transporter
Job Summary/Responsibilities
Under general supervision, and according to established policies and procedures, performs transporter duties which may include, but are not limited to escorting and/or transporting patients within the hospital. Escorts patients by stretcher, wheelchair or bed for treatment, testing, admitting, discharge and intra-hospital transfers. Delivers on request specimens, patient charts and various other patient related materials to specified department or other hospital area.

Qualifications
- Ability to read, write follow written and oral instructions and perform general clerical functions related to the job.
- No previous related experience required; one to four weeks on-the-job training.
