Transportation Team Leader
We are seeking a Transportation Team Leader to join our team in the Tampa area. This position will involve overseeing client relationships and managing projects, with opportunities for project leadership, marketing, and interacting with major transportation clients in Florida.
Responsibilities
- Client interaction and business development
- Project management
- Sub-consultant coordination
- Project/task scheduling
- Knowledge of transportation design
- Team oversight
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering from an ABET accredited program
- Licensed as a Professional Engineer (PE) in the State of Florida, or ability to obtain reciprocity within three months of hire
- Ten (10) or more years of relevant experience
- Practical working knowledge of the American Association of State Highway and Transportation Officials (AASHTO) Green Book and the Manual Uniform Traffic Control Device (MUTCD) as well as FDOT Design manuals and processes
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong working knowledge of MS Office
Preferred Skills
- Previous experience in consulting engineering with a primary focus on DOT transportation projects
