Transportation Supervisor Location: Albany, NY $80,000-$85,000 Base Salary Tuesday-Saturday | 12:00 PM-9:00 PM (Second Shift)We're partnering with a leading food distribution company that is hiring a Transportation Supervisor to oversee daily driver operations, delivery schedules, routing, and fleet coordination.This is a strong fit for someone with experience in transportation, logistics, food and beverage delivery, or fleet operations. The right person knows how to lead drivers, solve routing challenges, manage DOT compliance, and keep deliveries running safely and on schedule.What You'll Be DoingSupervise CDL drivers and oversee daily transportation and distribution operationsAssign trucks, trailers, routes, and driver schedulesManage daily dispatch, delivery schedules, pickups, and route adjustmentsUse routing software and telematics to improve efficiency and reduce transportation costsMonitor driver performance, overtime, attendance, and productivityEnsure compliance with DOT regulations, driver logs, vehicle inspections, and safety requirementsWork with fleet maintenance to coordinate truck repairs and equipment readinessTrack transportation KPIs, delivery performance, and operational costsTrain, coach, and support drivers on safety, service, and company proceduresResolve delivery issues and communicate with customers, drivers, dispatch, and managementSupport compliance with PMO, OSHA, SQF, and GMP standards where applicableWhat They're Looking For2+ years of transportation, logistics, or distribution experiencePrevious driver supervision, dispatch leadership, fleet management, or transportation team lead experienceExperience in dairy, milk distribution, food and beverage, or refrigerated transportation preferredStrong understanding of DOT regulations and commercial fleet safetyExperience managing driver schedules, delivery routes, and transportation operationsFamiliarity with routing software, telematics, and transportation KPIsAbility to coach drivers, resolve problems, and manage a fast-paced operationClass A CDL preferred, not requiredDOT Medical Card preferredHigh school diploma or equivalent requiredMust be comfortable working Tuesday-Saturday, 12 PM-9 PMWhy You'll Love It$80,000-$85,000 base salaryLeadership role with an established dairy distribution organizationTake ownership of daily driver operations, routing, safety, and fleet performanceOpportunity to improve delivery efficiency and develop a strong driver teamWork closely with transportation, maintenance, dispatch, and operations leadershipStrong fit for an experienced dispatcher, driver lead, or transportation professional ready for more responsibilityConsistent second-shift schedule: Tuesday-Saturday, 12 PM-9 PM MOHR Talent is an equal-opportunity employer and complies with all applicable federal, state, and local nondiscrimination laws.
