About the role

The Transportation Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the efficient operation of the transportation department, ensuring compliance with all safety regulations and company policies.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the transportation team, including scheduling, dispatching, and vehicle maintenance.
• Ensure all drivers adhere to safety protocols and company policies.
• Manage the loading and unloading of goods to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
• Collaborate with other departments to optimize delivery routes and reduce costs.
• Handle customer inquiries and complaints regarding transportation services.
• Prepare reports on transportation performance and make recommendations for improvement.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in transportation management or logistics.
• Proven ability to manage a team and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Strong knowledge of transportation laws and industry best practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license and good driving record.
• Experience with transportation software and systems.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends, as needed.

Pay

Schedule
