What You'll Do

  • Lead and manage transportation and structural engineering projects throughout the full project lifecycle.
  • Develop project scopes, schedules, budgets, and Project Management Plans.
  • Cook up multidisciplinary engineering teams and subconsultants.
  • Monitor project performance, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Manage project financial performance, budgets, change orders, and additional service requests.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and project stakeholders.
  • Build long-term client relationships and ensure exceptional customer satisfaction.
  • Prepare and present project updates, progress reports, and executive presentations.
  • Participate in project financial reviews and resource planning.
  • Support business development efforts, including proposal preparation, interviews, and Go/No-Go decisions.
  • Mentor and coach engineers through regular one-on-one meetings, project reviews, and professional development.
  • Foster a collaborative, high-performing engineering culture focused on quality and continuous improvement.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field from an ABET-accredited engineering program
  • 10+ years of engineering and engineering project management experience
  • Strong experience managing transportation or structural engineering projects
  • Excellent project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and risk management skills
  • Strong communication, presentation, and leadership abilities
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and multidisciplinary project teams

Preferred Qualifications

  • Professional Engineer (PE) license
  • Experience working with state DOTs, counties, municipalities, or other public-sector transportation agencies
  • Experience with multiple delivery methods, including: Design-Bid-Build, Design-Build, Public-Private Partnerships (P3)
  • Experience managing complex, multidisciplinary infrastructure projects
