Position Summary The Transportation Specialist is responsible for providing safe, reliable, and courteous transportation for patients using PAM Health vehicles. In this role, you'll create a positive experience for every patient by delivering exceptional customer service while maintaining the highest standards of safety and professionalism. You'll also support hospital operations by assisting with other duties as needed. What You'll Do Safely transport patients to and from scheduled appointments and other approved destinations.Operate company vehicles in accordance with all traffic laws and safety regulations.Assist patients with entering and exiting the vehicle as appropriate while providing compassionate customer service.Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance or safety concerns.Maintain a clean, safe, and professional vehicle environment.Follow all organizational policies and applicable state DMV regulations.Complete required documentation accurately and timely.Perform additional duties as assigned to support hospital operations. What You'll Bring High school diploma or equivalent preferred.Completion of a driver education course from an accredited program.Valid state driver's license (Class D license required in Louisiana).Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.Must be at least 21 years of age (insurance requirement).Defensive driving course completed within the past two years preferred.Strong commitment to safety, professionalism, and exceptional customer service.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Education and Training: High school diploma or equivalent preferred and completion of driver education course from an accredited curriculum. Valid State Driver's License. PAM Health follows the DMV laws of each state and that each person is responsible and required to abide by the local law. (Class D license required in Louisiana.)
