Transportation Routing & Scheduling Analyst (Effective 2026-2027 SCHOOL YEAR)
About the role
This position will develop, analyze, revise, and update bus runs, routes, and schedules for safety and maximum operating efficiency ensuring transportation service is safely and efficiently provided to all qualified students attending TUSD schools.
Requirements
- Associates Degree in Logistics, Business, or a related field OR
- Two years of college (60 credit hours) coursework in a related field OR
- Five (5) years of progressively responsible experience utilizing computerized Transportation Routing Software systems
- Two years of college (60 credit hours) coursework in a related field OR
- Three (3) years of experience utilizing spreadsheet and word processing applications
- Three (3) years experience as a Router in a transportation related field
- Verbal & written communication skills in English and a demonstrated ability to read and comprehend written/graphic and oral instructions
Preferred Qualifications
- Demonstrated knowledge of the Tucson Metropolitan area, to include Pima County
- Two (2) years experience utilizing computerized routing software application
- Knowledge of route planning and scheduling practices and procedures

Classification: Supervisory/Professional – Grade: 11
FTE: 1.0 – 8 hours per day
Work Calendar: 12 month
Positions less than 30 hours per week are not eligible for district benefits.
Salary will be prorated if the start date is after the first day of the work calendar for the position.
Internal candidates will transfer at a rate commensurate with their bargaining unit language.
