Description

We are seeking a Full-Time Civil Design Engineer in our Omaha office. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with the ability to communicate effectively with team members. Additionally, this candidate will:

  • Work closely with internal staff to meet client needs
  • Prepare civil engineering designs, drawings & specifications

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or related degree from an EAC/ABET, CEAB-accredited engineering program, or program that is meeting the NCEES Engineering Education Standard received on or before May 2026
  • Engineer-in-Training (E.I.T.) certification or ability to obtain within six months
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office and introductory experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D and/or MicroStation
  • Able to effectively work independently or with a team

Preferred Qualifications

  • Internship experience or up to two (2) years of engineering experience preferred
  • Experience with roadway design, hydrologic and hydraulic computations, computer modeling, and presentation of results
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Public Improvement Plan layouts, design, and processes and procedures
  • Experience with the City of Omaha, Sarpy, and Douglas County, and/or other local agencies
  • Knowledge of the Omaha Regional Design Manual

Pay

Competitive salary based on experience and qualifications.
