About the role
As a Project Manager in the Transportation team, you will collaborate with team members on a diverse blend of projects with an emphasis on mentoring junior and senior engineers while guiding the development of design and technical documentation for public and private sector projects.
Responsibilities
- Lead the development of engineering solutions for multi-modal transportation projects through the application of Local, State & Federal design standards and regulations.
- Lead design and creation of technical drawings in MicroStation OpenRoads Designer or AutoCAD/Carlson design software.
- Communicate across a multidisciplinary design team including coordination with clients and subconsultants.
- Develop project proposals and oversee project financials.
- Participate in transportation association networking events, classes, trainings, and seminars.
- Participate in business development activities including strategic planning, client outreach, and marketing pursuits.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering (or equivalent) from an ABET accredited university.
- 5(+) years of experience in civil engineering, specifically transportation design.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Enthusiasm for team collaboration and mentoring junior engineers.
- Familiarity with MicroStation or AutoCAD.
- Professional Engineering Licensure (PE).
- Capabilities in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience with Client and Project Management.
