Transportation Project Engineer
Duties
- Performs technical discipline tasks including research, reports, design, specification and plan preparation to ensure the most efficient and cost-effective execution of assigned projects
- Affords assistance to Project Managers with business development activities, including meetings with clients
- Assists with preparing and coordinating proposal efforts to secure work
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering required
- 15+ years of progressive transportation design experience
- PE is required
- Experience on NYSDOT, NYSTA, and Local Administered Federal Aid transportation projects
- Experience with Microstation / AutoCAD
- Inroads experience a plus
- General knowledge of NYSDOT specifications and standards
- Strong oral and written communication skills and interpersonal relationships skills
Pay
Salary Range: $150,000 - $160,000 per year
