Transportation Planner Series (Analytics)

Responsibilities

• Conducts transportation planning studies, including data collection, analysis, and reporting related to all modes of transportation.
• Develops Power BI reports, dashboards, and visualizations to support departmental objectives.
• Conducts data gathering and validation; reviews information for accuracy and prepares analyses of collected data.
• Develops and maintains datasets, data models, spreadsheets, and Power Platform workflows to improve reporting efficiency.
• Serves as a liaison with internal stakeholders to understand reporting requirements and ensure data accuracy and usability.
• Learns and applies SQL to support data extraction, transformation, and long-term business intelligence development.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree: Business Administration, Economic Development, Engineering, Planning, Public Administration, or related field, OR
• Four years of experience in transportation planning or engineering.

Pay

The entry salary is posted above, with the intermediate salary of $56,712.48 and a senior salary of $61,249.44.

Job requires occasional, statewide, overnight travel.
