Transportation Officer - Armed (CA) Camarillo

About the role

G4S Secure Solutions (USA) Inc., an Allied Universal® Company, is hiring a Transportation Officer - Armed. The role involves securing and safely transporting individuals from specified sites to designated points, conducting pat-down searches, and ensuring vehicles are in safe working order.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and prepare transportation vehicles for daily operation requirements; perform pre- and post-trip inspections; fill out required paperwork for any damage or defects
• Conduct pat-down searches; ensure individuals are properly secured before and during transport; obtain and verify necessary paperwork
• Operate vehicles safely; adhere to all applicable laws, regulations, policies, and procedures

Qualifications (MUST HAVE)

• High school diploma or equivalent
• California Bureau of Security and Investigative Services (BSIS) Armed Security Guard License with a 40-caliber or 9mm endorsement
• United States citizenship
• Two (2) years of driving experience and a minimum of 21 years of age
• Minimum of three (3) years of experience in law enforcement, military police, or security operations
• One (1) year of general experience demonstrating abilities such as greeting and dealing with the public, understanding and applying written and verbal orders, composing reports, exercising good judgment, and effective communication

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (NICE TO HAVE)

• Current and valid Commercial Driver’s License with a Passenger endorsement
• Fluency in multiple languages
• Active federal clearance
