About the role

McKee Foods is seeking a Transportation Office Support to join our Transportation team. Provide information and services to drivers, distributors and other departments. Perform office duties such as: data entry, typing, filing, record-keeping and answering the phone. Learn and use MyDispatch. Maintain strictest confidence in every aspect of this position. Perform all other job related tasks as required.

Required Qualifications

• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Proven ability to work on multiple tasks and complete them satisfactorily
• Ability to deal professionally with customers, drivers, and suppliers
• Demonstrated good verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to stay calm in stressful or confrontational situations
• Ability to maintain confidentiality
• Previous experience with Google Platform (Gmail, Google Sheets)
• Previous experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)
• Thorough and attentive to details

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of transportation operations
• Knowledge of shipping procedures
• Previous clerical or administrative experience

Pay & Schedule

Pay $18.69-$24.11/hour, depending on experience and qualifications. Schedule: 1st Shift (Sunday-Thursday, 7:00a.m. – 3:20 p.m.). On-site at 272 Patton Farm Road, Stuarts Draft VA 24477.
