Transportation Manager - Training

Job Summary

GardaWorld Cash Services is seeking a Branch Manager in Training to oversee operations at our armored transportation and cash processing facility. This position requires prior cash services and P&L management experience, along with a thorough understanding of DOT guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Supervise all employees at the branch, including supervisors, drivers/messengers, and vault employees.
• Recruit and train new employees.
• Reward, coach, and counsel employees.
• Ensure compliance with DOT guidelines and state/county guard and weapons requirements.
• Daily vehicle assignments, ensuring vehicle safety and fitness.
• Supervise vault personnel and assist in vault operations.
• Fill-in on armored and ATM routes as needed.
• Ongoing training and development of team members.
• Manage branch headcount, supervising junior management employees, support staff, Crew Leaders, drivers/messengers, vault personnel, and cash processing staff.
• Work both indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions, including heat, sun, rain, snow, and ice.

Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of management experience in transportation or related fields.
• Knowledge/experience in supply chain logistics, routing, and driver supervision.
• A valid state driver’s license and ability to obtain a commercial license.
• Maintain an acceptable driving record per company standards.
• A high school diploma or equivalent, with a bachelor's degree preferred.
• Ability to obtain a firearm license.
• Ability to give clear oral and written instructions and train armored and CVS employees.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Access.
• Knowledge of Armored Car Personnel Work Rules, Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations, state guard and gun regulations, and company policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• Thorough understanding of Department of Transportation (DOT) guidelines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• People skills and leadership experience are mandatory.
