Transportation & Infrastructure Intern (Field) - Summer 2027

Field Transportation & Infrastructure interns have the opportunity to work on-site at one of our projects in the Chicagoland area, with numerous opportunities to network with both professionals and interns from various departments.

Responsibilities

• Oversee, inspect, and monitor contractor's operations under the direction of supervising engineers
• Review, interpret, and correct errors in plans and calculations
• Maintain and organize construction records
• Attend team and client meetings in house and on-site for construction projects
• Develop and maintain strong client relations

Requirements

• Current student pursuing Bachelor's/Master's in Civil Engineering
• Interest in Transportation & Infrastructure
• Strong communications skills
• Good organization and computer skills
• Reliable transportation to travel to and from assigned job site in the Chicagoland area
• Past design and/or delivery work experience a plus
• Openness to learn and have fun

Pay

$20 - $25 per hour. Individual pay will be based on several factors including experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant.
