About the internship

Wight & Company offers a Summer Intern program with opportunities to support the team on Phase I and Phase II work. Interns have numerous opportunities to network with professionals and interns from various departments, building relationships that can last throughout a career.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform roadway design calculations under the direction of supervising engineers
• Assist in preparation of plans and cost estimates
• Organize and perform site investigations
• Investigate traffic patterns and problems
• Assist in presenting to clients

Requirements

• Current student pursuing Bachelor's/Master's in Civil Engineering
• Interest in Transportation & Infrastructure
• Strong communications skills
• Good organization and computer skills
• Past design and/or delivery work experience a plus
• Openness to learn and have fun

Pay

$20 - $25/hr. Individual pay will be based on several factors including experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant.
