About the role
Special needs kids ride with Carepool to keep them safe during Covid times. Drivers can drive a vehicle provided at an hourly rate or use your own car. Earn money while helping others. We have created a transportation platform for people with disabilities and the aging population. Work on your own schedule on a project basis. We are seeking drivers who want to take consistent rides and build trusting relationships. Make a difference! Our software platform works in a similar fashion to driving Uber, but some riders are scheduled the same on a daily or weekly basis. Partner with other drivers to cover shifts when needed. Job types include full-time, part-time, temporary, internship, and contract.
Responsibilities
- Drive a vehicle provided by Carepool (hourly rate) or use your own car.
- Provide safe and secure transportation for special needs kids, people with disabilities, and the aging population.
- Build trusting relationships with riders through consistent rides.
- Partner with other drivers to cover shifts as needed.
Requirements
- Excellent personality with the ability to read people and solve problems.
- 100% clean driving record (only a minor ticket or two every 2‑5 years permitted).
- Must be at least 21 years old.
- Over 5 years of driving experience.
- Healthcare specific experience preferred.
- One year of professional driving preferred.
Pay
Drivers are paid an hourly rate (vehicle provided at an hourly rate or you may use your own car).
Schedule
Work on your own schedule on a project basis; you can partner with other drivers to cover shifts as needed.
