About the role

Assists the Road Data Services department in the preparation and maintenance of statewide highway inventory databases used for transportation planning.

Responsibilities

• Performs technical duties associated with the collection, analysis, and distribution of complex statistical information in accordance with state and federal guidelines.
• Manages and maintains monthly Posting Advice data through review, support, and inclusion into and management of the ProjectWise database.
• Maintains and updates the Inventory Manager database to reflect current and accurate reporting.
• Manages the Department's ProjectWise database records.
• Performs peer review of other employees' work.
• Produces Road Inventory related reporting.
• Maintains mileage ledgers.
• Recognizes, reports, and/or implements changes needed to improve the workflow of Road Inventory maintenance.
• Cross-trains other employees.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• A high school diploma and two (2) years of progressively responsible engineering technician related experience; or an approved acceptable equivalence.
• A valid motor operator's license is required.
