Transportation Driver CNA

About the role

Ozark Care and Rehabilitation seeks compassionate and thoughtful individuals to join its team. The facility partners with skilled nursing centers to support a small team environment of caring professionals with the resources of a larger enterprise.

Responsibilities

• Transports residents, staff, volunteers, and others to scheduled events.
• Collaborates with appropriate staff members to coordinate transportation services.
• Aids residents in and out of the vehicle, following proper safety procedures.
• Operates mechanical lifts as required for wheelchair-bound patients.
• Leaves the center with residents, obtaining necessary paperwork and assessing and correcting inappropriate resident appearance.
• Fulfills residents' rights and follows center safety protocols.
• Maintains vehicle supplies and equipment, reporting any mechanical issues.
• Reports any issues or problems to the Transportation Coordinator and Administrator.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of commercial driving experience (preferred).
• CNA certification for the state of Missouri.
• Valid state insurance and license.
• Able to operate a vehicle.
• CPR certified.
