About the role

Part-Time/On-Call Transportation Driver.

Pay

$18–$20 per hour (DOE).

Requirements

  • Valid Washington State Enhanced Driver’s License required.
  • Good driving record a must.
  • Lift operation/disability transport experience a plus.
  • H.S. Diploma or GED required.
  • Must be reliable and have a cheerful, outgoing personality.
  • Ability to drive a 15-passenger van and/or mini-bus.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Must conduct all business with a professional manner and with a high level of confidentiality.
  • Ability to move objects of 40 pounds or more.
  • Ability to lift objects of 25 pounds or less over the head.
  • Remain seated in car for long periods of time.

Responsibilities

  • Work with the Activities Director and lead driver to deliver outstanding customer service.
  • Help develop an enriching community program for the members that integrates and meets member interests and needs into their daily routines.
  • Responsible for maintenance on all vehicles related to the transportation job, including making sure that vehicles are clean internally and externally at all times.
  • Transport residents to and from scheduled appointments in a timely manner.
  • Respond to medical emergencies if needed.
  • Assist with resident evacuations.
