Transportation Dispatcher/Support/Substitute Van Driver

Responsibilities

• Supports the safe, reliable and efficient daily operation of the District's student transportation program, with primary responsibility for dispatching and operational support for district-operated van routes.
• Communicates daily assignments and route changes.
• Monitors service.
• Responds to routine transportation issues.
• Maintains transportation records.
• Assists with vehicle readiness and other transportation office functions.
• Serves as the primary substitute driver for district-operated van routes and other Type III transportation needs as assigned.
• Under the direction of the Transportation Supervisor, carries out established routes, schedules, procedures and operational decisions and provides day-to-day support to Transportation Coordinators.

Schedule

260 days - Monday - Friday, 8 hours/day

Pay

$25.73 - $28.36 DOE
