Responsibilities
- Verify that the customer's needs are met in a prompt and professional manner.
- Notify the manager/supervisor in charge and the safety specialist of vehicle accidents or driver injuries.
- Coordinate driver activities to minimize hours of service violations.
- Verify that drivers are using Omnitracs properly.
- Assign backhauls as needed to be done in the most efficient manner possible.
- Cookier trailer and tractor assignments.
- Communicate to the sales force and operations management about service issues.
- Reassign routes as needed.
- Visually inspect each driver's appearance to ensure they are in proper uniform and have required PPE.
- Cookier shuttle assignments to minimize downtime and overtime.
- Complete Attendance Reports.
- Distribute intercompany mail to sales force.
- Other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
- High School Diploma/GED required.
- Must have working knowledge of DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations and driver's logs.
- Must be organized and detailed; and have legible handwriting.
- Must be able to manage several things at once.
- Must have (2) years transportation experience.
- CDL A preferred.

Pay
Compensation depends on relevant experience and/or education, specific skills, function, geographic location, and other factors as applicable by law. The expected base rate for this role is $25 per hour.
