Responsibilities
- Ensure highest quality customer service and assist transportation supervision/management with daily shuttle operations.
- Helps riders locate correct shuttle routes.
- Aids in keeping all needed load zones clear of unnecessary traffic.
- Manages day-to-day activities of the assigned location.
- Maintains shuttle timeliness and resolves delays.
- Interacts with riders in a friendly and professional manner.
- Provides assistance to riders needing shuttle schedules.
- Monitors driver radio transmissions for up-to-the-minute updates.
- Provides directions to riders to various locations.
- Resolves rider complaints independently or with the aid of a supervisor.
- Answers radio transmissions promptly and courteously.
- Maintains cleanliness of work area and picks up trash.
- Presents oneself professionally at all times while at work.
- Arrives at work on time for scheduled shifts.
- Completes any other duties assigned by the supervisor.
- Performs on-call driving duties (non-CDL).
- Reports all operation-related issues to management.
- Assists shuttle riders in using the location’s shuttle mobile application (if applicable).
Qualifications
- Pay Rate: $15.92 per hour
- Education Required: High School Diploma or equivalent
- Experience Required: Experience in transportation, aptitude for using GPS applications.
- Licenses Required: Valid state driver’s license with a current address and acceptable driving record.
- Availability: Special shift requirements may vary depending on locations hiring needs. Availability to work 2nd shift, 3rd shift, and weekends may be required.
- Physical Demands: Frequent standing, walking, use of hands, reaching, and use of arms and hands outside in varying weather conditions.
- Work Environment: Moderate to loud noise, exposure to vehicle emissions, extreme hot/cold temperatures, bright sunlight, and nighttime working conditions.
