Job Overview
The PACE Transportation Coordinator is a member of the PACE Interdisciplinary Team (IDT). Under the general supervision of the Center Manager, the Transportation Coordinator plans, organizes, and implements the transportation services of the PACE program. Depending on staffing needs, the transportation coordinator may occasionally serve as a Driver.
Job Responsibilities
- Participates as a member of the Interdisciplinary Team: attends staff meetings, participates in participant care planning, and communicates any reported changes in participant condition to team members.
- Plans and coordinates all scheduling activities related to transportation for PACE participants.
- Works with the Interdisciplinary Team, participants, and family members to ensure pick-up and delivery of participants are within acceptable time frames.
- Supervises the drivers' activities daily.
- Receive reports regarding participant status and communicate concerns to the Interdisciplinary Team.
- Ensures drive times and participants’ time in vehicles during transit are within regulatory requirements.
- Covers competency requirements and driver training, including body mechanics and the use of mechanical assistance to transport participants.
- Affirms all necessary program records are maintained according to policy.
- Supports the PACE QI program and participants in PACE QI activities as assigned.
- Other projects and duties as assigned.

Job Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED (Preferred)
- 1 - 2 Years Of Supervisory Experience (Preferred)
- Up to 1 year of experience transporting individuals with special mobility needs (Preferred)
- 1 - 2 years of experience in a health-related area. (Preferred)
- Driver's License Valid Driver’s license and an acceptable driving record
Location
PACE of Cincinnati: 4850 Smith Rd, Cincinnati, OH 45212 (requires to drive around the Greater Cincinnati Area)
