Transportation Coordinator / Driver - PRN

Vitality Living is seeking a Transportation Coordinator / Driver at our Hearthwood at Athens Community. This position involves driving vehicles from the community to various social and other destinations according to an assigned schedule. Key responsibilities include practicing safe driving techniques, securing passengers' wheelchairs, documenting damages, and performing regular vehicle maintenance.

• Practices safe driving techniques, adheres to posted speed limits, and follows state guidelines for motor vehicle operation at all times
• Sets up and secures passengers' wheelchairs to restraining devices to ensure stability during trips
• Documents all damages to company vehicles, including accidents, dents, natural wear and tear, etc.
• Cleans interior and exterior of vehicle after each outing and ensures adequate fuel levels
• Performs other duties as assigned

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Must be 21 years or older
• Valid driver's license with a clean record that meets company insurance standards
• Commercial driver's license (CDL) designation may be required if driving vehicles with a capacity of more than 15 passengers
• Working knowledge of all motor vehicle safety precautions and compliance with safety measures
• CPR/First Aid certification
