Transportation Coordinator/Driver Manager - York

About the role

PACE Healthcare Transportation is seeking a passionate, hardworking, innovative, and versatile professional to join our team. The Transportation Coordinator is essential to facilitating and implementing all transportation services, ensuring all members have transport to the center and access to medical, social, and physical benefits. This is a management role with oversight of drivers for the center, requiring supreme organizational and communication skills to seamlessly carry out daily responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Supervising all daily activities for drivers, including third-party providers
• Coordinating outside services for members, including appointments, consultations, and specialist appointments
• Executing monthly driver training in areas such as member safety and escorting, accident avoidance, and more
• Evaluating vendor invoices and contracts
• Managing vehicle maintenance in accordance with established best practices and OEM recommended schedules
• Working in tandem with external caregivers to maximize the comfort and trust of members
• Being consistently available to family members and exhibiting strong listening and problem-solving skills
• Educating participants about services, upcoming appointments, activities, and schedule planning
• Participating in Plan of Care development for members

Requirements

• Minimum of two years’ experience in a supervisory role
• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Valid Pennsylvania driver’s license to operate a van or bus

Qualifications

• Analytical thinker with the ability to quickly evaluate and prioritize needs
• Positive, team-first attitude
• Prior experience transporting passengers with special mobility needs (a major plus)
• CPR/basic first aid certification (a major plus)

Schedule

Full-time, daylight hours, Monday through Friday.
