Job Duties & Responsibilities
- Communicate with carriers to confirm dates, deliveries, and receive invoices and BOLs.
- Support TT and accounting with order discrepancies or invoice issues.
- Aid in maintaining accurate records in the ERP or purchasing system.
- Perform basic data entry and reporting related to Freight activity.
- Follow all company safety and purchasing policies and procedures.
Experience
- A high school diploma or equivalent with 2-4 years' experience in a Transportation Environment.
- A bachelor's degree with 0 years' experience.
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
- Basic understanding of transportation/freight delivery processes.
- Strong attention to detail and data accuracy.
- Good communication and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word).
- Ability to follow instructions and manage multiple tasks.
Preferred Qualifications
- No prior experience required, just preferred; on-the-job training provided.
Work Environment
- Frequent standing, walking, bending, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
- Must be able to operate material handling equipment safely.
- Exposure to warehouse and production environments, including chemicals and noise.
- Required use of PPE (gloves, safety glasses, hard hat, respirator as applicable).
