Transportation Aide

Job Summary

You will provide vital support by safely and efficiently transporting patients throughout the facility, while also offering direct patient care assistance, ensuring comfort and continuity during their healthcare journey.

Responsibilities

• Transport patients to and from departments (e.g., imaging, therapies, admissions, discharge)
• Assist with patient mobility
• Provide basic patient care such as turning, repositioning, and feeding
• Ensure patient safety during transport
• Maintain cleanliness of transport equipment
• Communicate effectively with clinical staff
• Respond promptly to patient care needs

Requirements

• Required High School Graduate, upon hire or
• Previous work experience as a Transportation Aide (may waive based on operational needs)
• Basic Life Support - CPR, upon hire (Must be through the American Heart Association)

Preferred Experience

• Experience in a healthcare environment
