Job Summary

The Network Operations Coordinator supports the health and operational performance of the transportation provider network within the assigned market. This role assists with provider onboarding, credentialing, compliance tracking, performance monitoring, and digital platform utilization. The position also includes conducting vehicle inspections and traveling across the state of Colorado to work directly with providers in the field.

Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities

  • Support efforts to monitor and maintain network health by identifying capacity gaps and tracking provider availability.
  • Aid in outreach to potential new providers and support ongoing network development activities.
  • Prepare and maintain documentation related to network initiatives.
  • Support the onboarding of new transportation providers, including collecting and verifying required documentation.
  • Track contract status, renewal timelines, and credentialing requirements.
  • Maintain accurate and organized records related to vehicles, drivers, and compliance documentation.
  • Track and report on provider performance metrics to support Manager oversight.
  • Notify providers of compliance issues, missing documents, or corrective actions needed.
  • Afford assistance in coordinating corrective action steps at the direction of the Manager.
  • Conduct vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with safety, credentialing, and organizational standards.
  • Document inspection findings, follow up on deficiencies, and ensure timely provider corrections.
  • Drive a company vehicle to provider locations throughout Virginia to conduct inspections, training support, site visits, and other operational tasks.
  • Serve as an on-site representative of Network Operations during field visits.
  • Assist as a first point of contact for providers needing assistance with platform access, onboarding, and troubleshooting.
  • Escalate system issues as appropriate and support provider adoption of digital tools.
  • Afford assistance in provider training related to digital platforms and operational technology.
  • Maintain consistent communication and positive working relationships with transportation providers.
  • Support planning and coordination of quarterly provider meetings, including preparation of materials.
  • Afford assistance in executing follow-up tasks from provider meetings and network communications.
  • Receive, document, and escalate provider issues or complaints.
  • Conduct basic quality and compliance checks on reports, logs, and documentation.
  • Afford assistance in ensuring providers receive timely information on policy changes, credentialing updates, and process adjustments.
  • Afford assistance in assisting with special projects assigned by the Manager, including data collection, scheduling, and task coordination.
  • Perform administrative duties such as report preparation, record management, and communication tracking.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and operate in field environments.
  • High attention to detail with strong organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Outlook, and Word.
  • Ability to interact professionally with providers and internal teams.
  • Basic understanding of credentialing, compliance, transportation operations, or related fields preferred.
  • Comfortable driving long distances and conducting on-site tasks.

Education and Training

  • Associate degree preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience: 1–2 years of experience in transportation operations, provider networks, credentialing, compliance, or coordination.
  • Experience conducting fieldwork or inspections preferred.

Supervisory Responsibilities

This position does not have supervisory responsibilities.

Driving Requirements

  • Must hold a valid driver’s license and maintain a driving record that meets organizational standards.
  • Ability to pass a DMV record check.
  • Comfortable driving vehicle to provider locations throughout Colorado.
  • (Mileage reimbursement may be paid to those using personal vehicle for work-related travel.)
