Average hourly rate for this position is $17.63 (including wage, incentives, bonuses, overtime, and shift differential). This position requires working at least one day per weekend and some evening hours.
About the role
As a Transport Support Worker, you will provide transportation and visitation support for children and families involved in the child welfare system. You’ll play a critical role in promoting the well-being of children, participate in staff meetings and trainings, and coordinate with other agencies providing Permanency Services.
Responsibilities
- Provide transportation and visitation support for children and families in the child welfare system
- Promote the well-being of children
- Participate in staff meetings and trainings

- Build healthy, long-lasting relationships by connecting families to resources that improve their lives
- Advocate for children and their families
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Two years of experience in child and family services
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Flexibility, punctuality, and a commitment to advocacy for children and families
- Evening availability for at least one day a week
- Completion of Predictive Index assessment (takes 5-7 minutes, no right or wrong answers)
