Transport Specialist

About the role

The Transport Specialist is responsible for delivering orders to our dispensaries and wholesale clients.

Responsibilities

• Drive a delivery van to deliver product orders to clients.
• Follow strict safety standards on and off the road.
• Interact with clients and vendors in a professional and positive manner.
• Support the Packaging department in assembling products and packaging during downtime.
• Prepare orders for delivery.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Minimum Qualifications

• Previous experience in order/package delivery required.
• Must be able to stand for at least 6 hours per day and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
• Must be able to operate and navigate a delivery van.
• Must be able to apply for a Cannabis Production Agent Card.
• Must be able to comply with all laws, regulations, and policies associated with the industry.

Preferred Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent preferred.
• Previous experience in commercial or work‑related driving preferred.

Physical and Mental Demands

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to remain in a stationary position, move and/or position oneself, communicate, operate and/or prepare, place, and position objects, tools, or controls. The ability to stay stationary in a vehicle for long periods of time is required. The employee must occasionally move packages weighing up to 50 lb and be able to stand up to 90 % of the time. Specific vision abilities required include close observation and the ability to adjust focus. These mental and physical requirements must be met, with or without reasonable accommodation, to successfully perform the essential functions of this position.

Working Environment

Work is performed in a warehouse and retail environment. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. The described environment characteristics are representative of those an individual encounters while performing the essential functions of this position.
