TRANSPORT REFRIGERATION TECHNICIAN
We are seeking a highly skilled Transport Refrigeration Technician to join our RTR (Refrigeration Trailer Repair) Service team. In this role, you will provide on-site maintenance and repair services for our customers' trailers at their facilities, ensuring their equipment remains in top condition and ready for use.
About the role
This is a full-time position with no roadside work required. You will diagnose and repair a wide range of mechanical and electrical issues, perform routine maintenance, and work closely with customers to deliver high-quality service.
Responsibilities
- Perform on-site maintenance and repair services for customers' trailers
- Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues
- Maintain accurate records of all work performed and parts used
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least 1 year of experience in refrigerated unit repair
- 608 certification
- Strong mechanical and electrical skills
- Experience with refrigeration systems
- Ability to diagnose and repair a wide range of issues
- Excellent customer service skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Completion of a vocational or technical program in trailer maintenance and repair
- Certification in trailer maintenance and repair
- Freon Certification
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
