Job Summary
The successful candidate will have experience gained within the logistics sector. They will be a customer relationship builder and a strong communicator. They should be able to plan and prioritize, work to deadlines without supervision. They will prepare schedules, order entry, and regularly update in-house computer systems. They will communicate and interact on a regular basis with drivers, internal departments, and sub-contractors. They will manage vehicle maintenance/repairs. Experience in transport planning in a busy transport office is essential. Minimum 2 years experience in logistics is required. A CPC qualification would be advantageous but not essential.
Responsibilities
- Customer relationship building and communication
- Planning and prioritizing tasks to meet deadlines
- Making customer orders and resource allocations
- Preparing schedules and order entries
- Updating in-house computer systems

Pay and Schedule
Pay range: £25,000.00 - £30,000.00 per year
