Responsibilities

• Patient Transport: Safely transport patients to and from medical appointments, ensuring they are properly secured, comfortable, and attended to during the trip.
• Assist with mobility, positioning, and other personal care needs before, during, and after transport.
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols, regulations, and patient care policies during transport.
• Collaborate with the Nursing Department on days with no scheduled appointments, assisting with patient care tasks, maintaining patient records, or providing support to other team members as needed.
• Keep accurate records of transportation schedules, patient status, and any incidents during transport.
• Work closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure smooth and efficient patient care delivery.

Qualifications

• Active CNA certification in New Jersey preferred but not required.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and team members.
• Compassionate, patient-focused, and professional demeanor.
• Able to adapt to changing schedules and tasks.
• Previous experience in healthcare or patient transport is a plus.
