Transplant Hepatologist

About the role

Providing comprehensive outpatient care for patients with complex liver diseases, assessing liver transplant eligibility, managing pre- and post-transplant care with an academic appointment, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams including transplant surgery, radiology, oncology, and pathology within an integrated transplant program.

Responsibilities

• Mentoring fellows and residents
• Participating in transplant conferences
• Leading clinical research and quality improvement initiatives

Requirements

Board‑certified or board‑eligible Transplant Hepatologist.

Skills

• Advanced procedural skills in endoscopy, EUS/ERCP, liver biopsy, TIPS/RTO, and liver‑directed therapies
• Proficiency with state‑of‑the‑art diagnostic tools and innovative treatment approaches
