Job Title: Transmission Systems OperatorJob Description As a Transmission Systems Operator, you will play a critical role in maintaining a safe and positive work environment. You will actively participate with Safety & Quality teams to foster an error-free workplace and will be responsible for communicating and coaching customer safety requirements. Additionally, you will take part in developing a Site-Specific Safety Plan and attend pre-construction meetings to contribute input on safety and quality responsibilities. Responsibilities Communicate and coach customer PTAG requirements.Train field and management in PTAG-specific practices.Organize and compile required PTAG documentation, identify areas for improvement, and relay information to supervision for training or communication needs.Process and submit outage (ORCA) requests as needed.Upload documents to SharePoint or server for customers, vendors, and subcontractors.Review all outage (ORCA) and permit-related documents to become familiar with project requirements and obligations.Assure thorough pre-construction planning and provide necessary guidance or documentation during the preconstruction process.Attend pre-construction meetings to provide input on requirements, safety, and quality. Essential Skills Experience with transmission systems and Lock Out/Tag Out protocols.Knowledge of permitting, LOTO, switching protocols, and blueprint reading. Additional Skills & Qualifications Journeyman Lineman classification or 5 years’ experience as a system's operator for an electric utility company or 5 years’ experience as an energy control representative for an investor-owned utility.Electrical engineering degree or certification preferred.Proficiency in MS Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and MS Project.Residing in Pennsylvania is preferable, with the ability to travel regularly to other offices, customer facilities, job sites, and yard locations.A strong work ethic, a can-do attitude, and effective collaboration skills. Pay And Benefits The pay range for this position is $120000.00 - $135000.00/yr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
