Position Summary
A successful candidate will have an understanding of electrical theory or power system operations, experience or knowledge of switching and tagging procedures and experience operating power system equipment. The candidate must be capable of acquiring an in-depth working knowledge of power system and operational fundamentals through self study and classroom training. The candidate must obtain North America Electric Reliability Corporation (NERC) certifications and successfully complete designated classroom training provided through Oncor Training Program.
Responsibilities
- Within one year from employment obtain ONE of the following NERC Critical Infrastructure Protection (CIP) Certifications: Reliability Coordinator, Transmission Operator, or Balancing, Interchange and Transmission.
