Transmission Project Manager/Senior Project Manager

Responsibilities

• The conceptual, preliminary and final detailed design of new and upgraded transmission lines, including material procurement and construction support through line energization.
• Establishing project scope, schedule, and budget.
• Directing feasibility and routing studies.
• Developing and evaluating design solutions.
• Oversight of structural and electrical calculations.
• Reviewing drawings, specifications, and other technical deliverables.
• Coordination with clients and project stakeholders.
• Participation in all stages of transmission line projects.

Requirements

• Minimum requirements for Project Manager: Bachelor of Science or Master's degree in Civil Engineering, 10+ years' project engineering experience, or an acceptable combination of education and experience; a PE license is required; excellent verbal and written communication skills; strong organization and planning skills; commitment to quality and accuracy; and a willingness and ability to meet fast-paced project schedules.
• Minimum requirements for Senior Project Manager: Bachelor of Science or Master's degree in Civil Engineering, 15+ years' project engineering experience, or an acceptable combination of education and experience; 2+ years of demonstrated project management and leadership experience with multidisciplinary project teams; a PE license is required; excellent verbal and written communication skills; strong organization and planning skills; commitment to quality and accuracy; and a willingness and ability to meet fast-paced project schedules.

Qualifications

• An advanced knowledge of transmission engineering principals.
• Expertise regarding applicable codes, standards and design tools.
• The ability to direct and oversee multiple technical disciplines in the completion of transmission line projects.
• The ability to resolve conflicting priorities and schedules.

Occasional travel/driving is required; therefore, the successful applicant will be subject to ECI's auto insurance carrier requirements.
